Yibaneh Yerushalayim Continues

 Article written by Azriel Winnett

Yibaneh Yerushalayim (May Jerusalem be Rebuilt) is a full color magazine geared to helping people set up a new home, after marrying or making aliyah to Israel, in accordance with authentic Jewish values. With a modern layout and printed on quality paper, it is produced to high professional standards. Its stimulating content includes informative articles by experts prominent in their respective fields and inspiring Torah tips, as well advertising offering quality products and services suitable for the publication's target readership. Distribution is  currently free.

Two issues, which were distributed in the Jerusalem area and throughout Israel, have already been published. The feedback had been extremely positive and it is clear that many people are very eagerly awaiting the third issue, which is now in an advanced stage of preparation. This issue boasts new features and many more articles. You can preview one of them: How Our Emotions Affect Our Relationships by clicking here.

This magazine is part of our expanding Chesed ve'Emet organization that is engaged in disseminating Torah knowledge and values in various ways and in a wide range of chesed activities. In particular, the journal is a component of the Bayit Chadash project, which helps in a very practical way less privileged engaged and newly married couples (with a focus on empowering orphans) who simply lack the means for all that is essential for a new Jewish home. Couples we have helped in the past have found it difficult to find the right words to express their deep gratitude for this critical support.

We have great plans for upcoming issues of Yibaneh Yerushalayim. We know that it fills a genuine need and has enormous potential for making a real difference to people's lives. But if we are to continue with this project, we are compelled to appeal to the generosity of those to whom the Jewish family as the cornerstone of Torah-based Jewish life is precious.

As our publication is still new, potential advertisers - on whom we eventually will rely to meet the bulk of our publishing costs - understandably want to see that it will last and be effective before making a decision to advertise with us. Of course, this places us in a paradoxical predicament. Similarly, without basic capital, it is also difficult for a new publication like ours to attract the right calibre of sales people to solicit advertising.

With your generous support, we hope it will be possible to publish our next issue very soon even without enough advertising. Your support will also give us the resources to expand distribution of the magazine, and this will in turn help to enable us to attract more and higher-paying advertisers.

In order to make production as efficient and cost effective as possible, we will also need to invest in a computer that is able to handle the necessary graphic design software, as well as to purchase the software itself(Adobe Creative Suite) and other required accessories together. We will then manage to produce the magazine from start to finish on our own, with substantial long-term savings. In addition, we look forward to being able to update our current website making it user friendly, easy to navigate and enjoyable to use - packed with projects and information to assist our community.

Please become a partner with us in our holy work! We do feel that our modest publication could play a not insignificant role in promoting authentic Jewish values, an important aspect of which is the stability of our family life.

For those who are serious donors requiring any other information or would like to give something further to this project, please email us so that we can set up a time to talk on the phone about this very urgent Mitzvah.

If you have a service or product related to weddings in Israel and setting up a new home here, please email us for prices to purchase adspace in our next edition. If you know anyone who loves sales, please have them email us

Mortgage in Israel

The following post is an excerpt of an article written for us by Avraham Mahler for our next issue of "Yibaneh Yerushalayim."

Purchasing a home in Israel can be a very expensive and complicated process. Naturally, everyone wants to keep buying costs to a minimum. One small mistake in your mortgage process, however, can cost tens of thousands of Shekels over the length of the loan. We at Mortgage Israel use our experience to match each customer with the mortgage that fits best for their specific financial circumstances. It is our primary concern that each customer receives the attention and service necessary to obtain the best terms possible and eliminate the stress involved with acquiring a new property.

Please contact Avraham for your free consultation at 052 734 6327
or amahler@mortgageisrael.com.

We'd love to feature your advert too. Place an advert with us in our magazine and you stand to be featured in our blog and possibly our newsletter as well. If you have a service related to Jewish weddings in Israel, setting up a new home in Israel, real estate, travel, touring in Israel, please be in touch to advertise in our magazine.

Work from Home

Some years ago I read an article of how home industries or working from home helps to improve the ecconomy of developing countries. When one makes Aliyah, many will tell you that all you can do is work in a 9 - 5 job earning a salary and preferably (or at least for the one giving the info) a minimum wage salary at that.

Do you prefer to work from home than be tied to a job with little room for progress? Are you a mom who works from home or would like to work from home. Are you interested in part-time work from home?

Have you considered part-time work in telesales? Work can develop to be from home once we see your progress and productivitiy.

We are looking for:

- Olim who are interested in telesales or students, new Chatanim / Kallot or new mothers interested in telesales. Must be able to give a tax receipt and work free-lance. Must be prepared to begin earning commission only, however there is much scope for progress for those who are motivated, persistant and want to succeed.

- Any English Speakers in Israel who have a small business from home that is related to a Kosher wedding or setting up a new home in Eretz Yisrael. It could be ceramic items to give as gifts, linnen, curtains or table cloths, it could be wedding dresses, catering or video. If you have a small business working from home, we'd like to offer for you to advertise in our new magazine. Our prices are terrific and will help to give you the exposure you require to increase clients while at the same time doing the added chessed of helping needy orphan Chatanim and Kallot as a percentage of the proceeds goes to our Bayit Chadash Gemach.

Remember, we can only give to the Chatanim and Kallot once there are proceeds, so how about you helping us reach our target and you can increase opportunity for blessings and clients. Sounds like a good deal to me. What do you think?

Come and join us and have fun with the latest developments in our new magazine "Yibaneh Yerushalayim"

If you fit either of the above descriptions, please be in touch, we'd like to add you to our team.

"Yibaneh Yerushalayim" - Our Second Edition

It's out, It's official, the second edition of our magazine "Yibaneh Yerushalayim" - May Jerusalem be Built (or re-built).

YIPPEE!! We did it, we reached Edition 2 and distribution has begun.

What does building Yerushalayim mean to you? Let us know, we'd love to hear your thoughts and possibly include them in our next or a future edition. In the meantime, we are happy to let you see what this is all about.

The first two images show the cover, both close up of title and full image, of our second edition. The cover photography and design is by Reb Eliyahu Shear and copyrighted to him, as was the most of the first cover.

The last two images show both editions of our magazine. Yes, the number of pages is still less than we want. Our target is 64 pages. Actually, one of our readers said she thought the number of pages is perfect as one can read every page, article and advert with ease and enjoy.

Others want more pages. What do YOU want?

Do you have a service or product related to Kosher Jewish weddings and or setting up your new home in Eretz Yisrael?

You do?!!

Great, do be in touch for rates of adspace and other info, as we'd love to add your advert too.

If you are good at sales, we need good sales people to help to sell the adspace. At present, commission based only, but LOTS of scope for progress.
